How We Began
It began with a simple belief: Lombok deserves hospitality as beautiful as its beaches.
Senggigi has always been Lombok's grand old lady — the island's first resort town, where colonial-era charm meets fishing-village soul. It is here, along the winding coastal road between Batu Bolong and Mangsit, that Attara Hospitality took root.
We started the way the best hospitality companies do: by running our own properties, learning every lesson the hard way, and refusing to cut the corners that guests can feel. We restored tired buildings into heritage boutique hotels. We turned quiet kitchens into restaurants people cross the island for. We took a beloved beachfront bungalow property that had welcomed travelers since 2008 and gave it new life without losing its heart.
Today, the Attara family spans three properties and a growing management portfolio. Our name has become shorthand for a particular kind of stay: intimate, artful, unhurried — colonial elegance softened by tropical ease, with traditional Sasak craftsmanship woven into every space.
And because we built our systems from the ground up — revenue management, guest experience, F&B operations, staff training, digital marketing — we now share them with fellow property owners who want their asset to perform without surrendering its personality.
